Blessed Revolution lesser evil and terrorism
In the midst of the Russian Revolution, many of the leaders struggled to start the path to bomb government offices or in neighborhoods aristocrats, to instill terror among the elite. Trotsky opposed with some success, saying that "if bombs solve the problem, why do we match or the labor movement?".
his thinking resonates today in the light of two major international events of profound hypocrisy left naked in the global political system: a revolution in Tunisia and the terrorist attack in the Moscow airport. The latest attack, which left 35 dead and no clear responsibilities, is the latest in a long history of terrorist attacks in that country. While
demonstrate the failure of Russian authoritarian politics in the Caucasus and elsewhere, also confirms - again - that bombs can not change the system, at least not by itself. The death of innocent rarely wins converts, and less with the bloody history of Russian rebels. Just remember the tragic hostage taking of children in Belsen in 2004 (which ended with hundreds dead, mostly children) with a handful of other bombings and kidnappings. Pointless violence - if there is violence "useful" - away from the world of what might be seen as a just cause, alienating actors and their deeds of the necessary international support.
At the same time, in the sands of North Africa, came about a social revolution was spontaneous, sincere and effective, which ousted a longtime dictator - Ben Ali, who had 23 years in power. Military action - that sided with the people and against the regime - is enough to blush at all the Latin American armies, many times members of dictatorships.
amazing thing about this movement is not only popular North African who has had some success - the power to sack a repressive government, corrupt and vile force of popular protest - but it has proven an air saturated contagious to a region of authoritarian rule.
Egypt and Yemen are now the scene of massive protests and riots against the regimes, while Morocco has recourse to populist measures to keep people quiet. One of the great strengths of this movement lies in the youth of its members: the countries of North Africa have huge populations of less than 30 years (52 percent in Tunisia, 63 in Egypt and 77 in Yemen), who have little job prospects are less conservative and more democratic life ambitions. These young people enthusiastic and motivated spread by removing the sands of societies accustomed to a certain level of authoritarianism and repression. Tunisia achieving it is changing the face of the Arab world, and can impact long deep breath and progress in those societies.
At the same time displayed the outrageous hypocrisy of many Western countries, particularly France. While the United States Barak Obama viewed favorably by the demonstrations, the French kept a shameful silence, after being supporters, partners and allies, most of those dictatorships. Spain not far behind, and in this event again to drain the wound not closed a European colonialism in Africa that is naturally exploitative, opportunistic and without any sense of ethics. Himself Muammar Gaddafi, who has been in power since 1969, before hated by "terrorist" is now a darling of the West.
The arrival of El Baradei to Egypt may be the beginning of a democratic transition that will leave no Arab country as before. Thus, while the bombs in Moscow only served to hurt the innocent and strengthen a government's repressive policies, the mobilization has shown that African people are still alive, still have momentum and remain the hub of political transformation.
have to pay attention to what happens in Tunisia. The success of his experiment will change the world. We should not feel that because they are far does not affect us, their actions are real and draw us human.
The Maghreb is near. Very close.

Between Tunisia and Egypt are new winds of freedom?
The demands of social and political improvements are taking to the streets in hundreds of thousands of people in different countries of North Africa and Middle East, in what now seems an unstoppable wave. A number of authoritarian governments, corrupt and class that have spent decades in power, supported by armed forces and police checked alarmed that its brutal repression of street protests fail to quell quite the contrary.
The social unrest in Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt were taken by surprise European Union and Washington. In Spain and the rest of southern Europe in particular, are seen with astonishment the events that are taking place in Tunisia, have already spread like a domino effect in other countries of the Maghreb and the Arab world.
The unprecedented mass street protests in December originated in Tunisia in January and also in neighboring Algeria, for the rising prices of food and commodities, was the spark for thousands and thousands of people took to the streets and stones clashed with riot forces of the dictator of Tunisia, Zine el Abidine Bel Ali (74 years) and Algerian President Abdelaziz Boutlefika (73), with 23 and 11 years power respectively.
bonzo The self-immolation to the young graduate Mohamed Bouazizi after closure by the police of his street stall of vegetables and the confiscation of their property, incurred the wrath of thousands of young people desperate for high prices, lack of employment and freedoms , nepotism and rampant corruption of one-party regime.
The brutal repression with which Ben Ali said did nothing to tighten and extend the protest to the whole country, killing dozens of people dead, finally fleeing the country after 28 days of mobilization. While in Tunisia
spontaneous street protest that broke the weak and inexperienced organized political opposition, tries to avoid losing control of the management of complex period of transition to democratic elections that are open now, in Algeria, where too many people were burned to the Bonze in the streets and others were shot dead by police The government promises Boutlefika changes in an attempt to avoid a similar fate to that of Ben Ali.
social revolts in Algeria and Tunisia rouse a sleeping zombie European Union and the United States, never lift a finger to condemn those and other authoritarian and corrupt regimes in the region. For the EU and the United States essentially in relation to these countries, As with others who make up the so-called Arab Maghreb, Morocco and Libya, is the role of radical Islam brake and terrorism of Al Qaeda who play in the conflict zone.
In the case of Algeria, this is compounded by the importance of its oil and gas, supplying to countries like Spain. Fisheries agreements with Mediterranean countries are also vital for European fishing fleets, as well as its role of containing thousands of migrants try to reach every day still illegally from their shores to European shores in flimsy boats.
And if the Europeans have been astonished to see the virulence of the riots in Tunisia, a country ten million inhabitants and tourist destination, there are others who have not only shocked but are extremely concerned about the contagion effect that may result. Especially concerned is shown Gaddafi, the Libyan leader, in power since 1969 - who expressed his open support for Ben Ali to run away, and banned all demonstrations in the country in support of the Tunisian opposition, but so is undoubtedly the nearest Moroccan monarchy and other North African Arab governments, such as Mauritania. The wave of suicides to bonzo, doused with flammable liquids and set on fire, a form of protest adopted by Buddhist monks in the years 60s and 70s in various countries in Southeast Asia, has spread especially in Egypt, the most powerful and most populous area. Explosive
Most of North Africa now focuses on Egypt, the giant of the region, with over 80 million people, a key geopolitical ally not only in the U.S. and the rest of the West but also from Israel. Repression with which the regime of Hosni Mubarak (82 years, since 1981 in power), responded to the demonstrations to demand food, work and democracy, has already claimed more than 140 people, more than 2000 injured and over 3000 detainees. Needless to say, more half of Egyptians live on a dollar and half a day, which makes the lower class into a tinderbox.
A falling Mubarak could decisively change the political and power relations in the entire Arab and Muslim world in a broad area that includes not only the north but other parts of Africa and the Middle East. Hence the Obama Administration, like the European countries try to avoid that the intransigence of Mubarak cause an even greater bloodbath ending sectors benefiting politically radical Islamists and that is why we claim to establish channels for dialogue. Any negotiated solution would be better for the West and Israel that a violent overthrow of the Egyptian regime.
protests against economic and social injustice and for democracy, which has also taken place in Jordan, have begun to echo the past few days also in Syria, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, threatening to spread like wildfire a vast and troubled region.
Yesterday, thousands of Yemenis in the streets demanding the end of Sana'a Ali Abdullah Saleh regime on Friday were the Jordanians who have been on the streets after Muslim prayers to ask the King Abdullah II's dismissal of Prime Minister Samir Rifai, and the adoption of economic reforms and policies in the country.
Jordanian citizens have rallied for the third straight week in the streets of the capital, Amman, and in the cities of Irbid, Zarqa, Ajloun, Mafrak, Karnak and Aqaba. Islamic parties in the opposition, trade unions, civil society and activist groups have been convened and led the protests. Participants have raised placards and shouted slogans calling on King Abdullah II to dismiss the Government of Rifai because, according to the protesters, has failed to meet the needs of Jordanian citizens.
In Saudi Arabia, authorities have arrested dozens of demonstrators protesting Yeda situation poverty after the floods. The protest, called by SMS messages, has forced many shops in the main street in Jeddah to close while they could hear cries of "God is greatest" before the riots. In Syria, it has called a mass rally on 5 February.
Yemenis rebelled against food shortages, corruption and nepotism. To prevent such revolts, for its part, Morocco decided to take further measures such as subsidizing oil and basic foodstuffs. Morocco is the North African country least affected by the blast of revolution in Tunisia.
"If successful, Tunisia will impose itself as final model. "Arab public opinion to the challenge of the revolution Tunisian, Egyptian and now is enormous," said the Algerian Kamel Daoud, a columnist for Le Quotidien d'Oran. "If they succeed will be imposed as a definitive model . If they fail to be used as a pretext for authoritarian regimes to reiterate again the same equation: us or chaos. Tunisian revolution will spread, but increasingly with local specificities, "says the analyst of the Algerian newspaper.
" They understand that the street is stronger than those regimes exhausted. "Egyptians are mobilized and in its day Tunisian and even ask them advice on how do, "says the Tunisian Khadija Mohsen-Finan, a professor of history of the Maghreb in the University of Paris VIII." They understand that the street is stronger than these schemes worn, tired and corrupt and Western allies which they can drop. Tunisians and Egyptians say the same thing in the background. They rebel against inequality in the distribution of wealth, widespread corruption, the absence of a national project, the lack of prospects for young people. Yet there are differences. In Egypt, as in Algeria, the army is on the side of power. In Algeria, the population is concerned above all to meet again mired in violence. In Morocco, although greater legitimacy is not excluded an outbreak of violence against lean against the government, against the system, while preserving the king. I was there last week. Elites Tunisian repeated that the case can not get to Morocco, while taxi drivers claimed to speak of the fall of Ben Ali: 'This is what happens to the princes who lie to their people. "
" parties and even society play no role civil "." Revolution Tunisian only inspires people because as it developed, was the work of the people and the people alone, "says the Tunisian Amine Ghali, director of the Center for Democratic Transition Kawakibi." The political parties, civil society and even the trade unions played no role in this revolution. There are many similarities between the neighbors starting with the dictatorial character of the state and the gap between a clique that exploits around the head of state, and the vast majority of people. However, Tunisia was a police state, not military. Thanks to the neutrality of the military overthrow of a police state has been a relatively easy task.
"In other Arab countries the Islamists have a strong capacity to mobilize." If you look at the Tunisian regime that was based on more authoritarian and not only closed but the Maghreb Arab world, "says the Algerian Abdennour Benante Professor of Economics Center Applied Development. "This largely explains the popular character of the revolution that was done without political parties. In other Arab countries, however, Islamist political movements have, despite being repressed, a strong capacity for mobilization. This can reinforce and further politicize most popular mobilization and radicalize. So schemes could justify further repression. "
The explosion comes from the same accumulation of problems, frustrations, aspirations to the entire region.
First, the permanence of authoritarian regimes that never accountable to its citizens. If there is (or rather was) an "Arab exceptionalism," of course is this: these systems have experienced an unprecedented longevity, and even the great wave of democratization that swept Eastern Europe, Africa or Latin America has crashed into the wall of dictatorships Middle East and North Africa: Mubarak is the president since 1982, M. Yemen Ali Abdullah Saleh directed since 1978 and in Amman, King Abdullah II succeeded his father in 1999, which in turn came to power in 1952. Not to mention Syria, where Bashar Al-Assad succeeded his father, who had seized power in 1970, in Morocco where King Mohammed VI succeeded his father in 1999, who had reigned since 1961; of Libya, where Gadhafi punished since 1969 and is preparing his son to succeed him. As Ben Ali, Tunisia presided at will since 1989.
In any case, whatever the conditions of each country, they all violate individual rights, political and expression. The moukhabarat, the Egyptian secret police, they reaffirm their omnipotence is not uncommon in Egypt and elsewhere, that abuse, torture and murder of detainees. The publication by WikiLeaks of telegrams sent from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo confirmed what everyone knew (including Nicolas Sarkozy), but that did not prevent each other to entertain the faithful ally the West while denouncing the conduct in Iran ("Iran Egypte-deux poids, deux mesures», Nouvelles d'Orient, November 27, 2010). This absolute arbitrariness, which is also reflected in everyday life and puts citizens at the mercy of forces drives a revolution everywhere expresses the desire for dignity.
All these schemes have not only monopolized political power, but also have been imposed in the economic sphere often acting as true predators of national wealth, as in the case of Tunisia. States that were born of independence, which generally guaranteed their citizens protection minimum, some social security coverage or access to education, have collapsed against the onslaught of corruption and globalization. Even access to college than before, in Egypt, opened the door to access to public, no longer has the potential to increasingly frustrated youth have to see how they strut "the new rich."
In the 70's, the oil boom offered an outlet for many who migrated to the Gulf, but this region is no longer able to absorb the increased flows of unemployed. The growth figures set by the champions of economic liberalism, Egypt, Tunisia and Jordan, often report objects appreciative of the international financial institutions, which fail to mask the growing poverty. For several years, social movements have taken hold in Egypt Grèves ouvrière, Lutter paysannes, demonstrations in the suburbs of big cities, etc .- and in Tunisia (Gafsa), Jordan and Yemen. But so far never been open and massively expressed the will of political change. The Tunisian example has busted the locks.
also be pointed out that the fight against Israel, often featuring Middle Eastern regimes an argument to maintain their control "in the name of unity against the Zionist enemy," does not seem sufficient. Egypt and Jordan signed peace agreements with Israel, and the whole Arab world seems completely unable to react to the systematic annihilation of the Palestinians. Let no one be deceived: an American writer, Robert Kaplan, noted in The New York Times (January 24) that "are not Democrats, but autocrats like Sadat or King Hussein who made peace with Israel. A solidly installed autocrat can more easily make concessions that a weak leader out of the polls (...) ". And in an appeal to U.S. leaders to support the "autocratic" Arabs asked, "Do we really want large street demonstrations that undermine the power of enlightened leaders like King Abdullah of Jordan. "
And now? Any forecast on Egypt is safe and nobody can foresee how events continue. What will the Muslim Brotherhood are very unwilling to enter into a confrontation with the power and have finally decided to join the movement? In any case, the Tunisian revolution has opened the door and sent a wind of freedom beyond the borders to foreign peoples, that makes me dizzy.

What Will Result In A Miscarriage
desire.
Guided by the uncertain directions out in an old map, finally reached the treasure cave. Only then gave credence to what that drunken pirate tell him to change a few drinks in a bar with no name.
Lit torches, thirsty for gold, and began to open chests, jars break, to tear bags.
Powder. Just dust.
Disappointed, kicked and cursed until he was surrendered to the ground. It was then noticed that dented and dusty lamp lying next to him. Slowly, with a question in the gesture, lifted and gently stirred. And the lamp light ... left his genius.
stayed there, dread, and evaluated, allowing the scare was allowed to both of the body. Then, with the voice of tune by the lack of custom, the genius was to the point:
"I grant a wish.
- One? He asked in frustration, the thief - what ... what the hell happened to the other two?
"Excuse me, my Lord, ... other two ... what.
-Hmmm ... forget it, okay. A wish ... a wish.
closed his eyes, concentrate, and spent his life in pictures in his mind. His escapades as a petty thief market when I was a kid ragged and unkempt. Their daring adventures in search of fame and riches. The joy and excitement when fortune favored him, luxuries passengers, good food, young harlots of his favorite brothel and the sudden return to ruin, cold nights, the hungry wolf ... the thirst for new adventures. Then imagined a life of leisure in which desired all materialized in his hands if by magic. A life without pain, trouble, trouble or needs ... a life without risks, not unattainable dreams, no desires impossible ... without an uncertain future.
Then he opened his eyes and out of a trance, with an assurance of a prince, told the genius
-Clean
me this meeting.
- What?
"I do not remember ever met you.
"I can grant you what you want ... anything ... and what" It "is what you ask? ...
"I have heard. My desire is to forget all this. To you, this cave ...
"Damn advenedizos whispered to each other genius, and clapping his hands held the spell. Time seemed to stop for a moment and swept the young mild vertigo.
"Granted," he said then.
- What? Confusing the thief replied wincing scared.
"That's it.
-That it is ... what? Are you talking to me?
"And ... who else?
- Sorry, but ... do we know?
They looked puzzled for an embarrassing moment. The Genius felt ridiculous and cursing their luck again, without more, disappeared.
The thief, bewildered, he gathered his belongings and left the cave as a soul by the devil. Only when he felt the cool breeze of the desert night in the lungs and the sand still warm beneath your feet, stopped running and with a sudden and deep contentment in the heart, he headed to the village felt a wild desire to visit a brothel .

Basque self-determination is a right that goes beyond the actions of ETA in Spain and relentless struggle
"Revolutions begin with the word and conclude by the sword", Jean Poul Marat.
There is something disturbing about the repercussions of the statement read by ETA in English and international society. To the topic at home and abroad accentuates the desert of the pilgrimage mists and ghostly men and women living in Spain and will not, and do not understand, and do not try to find the Basque conflict with the final solution that returns rights taken away the Basque people. I understand that the Basque country is not a colony of Spain, but neither is a people who can freely choose their destiny as established international law. Trying to confuse the determination of the Basque Country with ETA dead leaves in each is attempting to divert attention from the issue.
English No way seek dialogue with the intimidating vastness of the "remains Basques" because they have no real foundation to support the imposition and the order established so far. Then look for excuses and reasons not to perform what is for natural right.
analysis by authorities, intellectuals, journalists and drivers on ETA's statement shows the lack of any clear direction, illegibility, or even more, the erasure of all-round and the danger of stale in the void of meaning that seem to rob the words of ETA, making the statement, the event-in a disturbing image and twilight empty of content and form a struggle that takes several hundred years and makes their lives together in a new nonsense that condemns them to live in a continuing failure.
space turns out to be not so much a band of unstable weather, as the area where the eternal battle being waged for control of power in the Basque Country, space boundaries blurred by the central government. In this story, like many other stories, everything seems to transform the battlefield questioning, tenacious, by sense of protection, at the scene of utter helplessness of the rights of a people who are subjected to arbitrary power that is not theirs.
Basque nationalists (including the fundamentalist ETA) and the State of Spain are extreme symptomatic of a parable in which to enroll the most critical paths of a nation fragmented since its inception. A nation of encroachment, inheritance, arranged marriages, killings, abuses and civil war. The "Republic" has eroded their subjective media, before and after the birth of ETA and Spain throughout the history of mankind has also managed to have "ETAs" killing men and women around the world who are never convicted of the people that condemn so easily. Can the people of Spain to throw the first stone and yelling at other murderers when in their history they have been one of the biggest murderers in history?
From the Catholic Monarchs to Zapatero can portray the state fire fund military shameful what is known as Spain. ETA has foreshadowed the landscape of devastation on the end of that same story, but over all is perhaps the only one who is at fault, that is worthy of much negative denotation will be (and it is clear that much as the rest of Spain talk about the crimes committed.) In the apparent exuberance of their struggles few are criminals and other heroes, there is less hope that austerity disenchanted, less regret, anger or complaint, that evidence of a limit on this "war without end" that is a free subject, winners and losers in this stories ever written by the victors, that is, the monarchical republic of Spain.
Terrorists kill in the name of Good, also hosts the conquerors and crusaders also killed in the name of good and well the world is condemned in the name of Good, but only a few deaths are considered evil work of fans not only religious, ideological or nationalist need enemies to justify his madness, they need enemies to justify its existence. Good and bad, bad and good: the actors change their masks according to which side you look at the issue. Napoleon once said, "today's heroes are the traitors of tomorrow." Heroes become monsters and monsters heroes, as required by those who write the drama. That is nothing new. Stalin was good during the Second World War and bad later, when became head of the Evil Empire Saddam Hussein was good, and good were to use chemical weapons against Iranians and Kurds. Then it was bad. Was now called Satan Hussein when the United States, who came to invade Panama, invaded Iraq because Iraq had invaded Kuwait. The world justifies some deaths and some not. It does not matter what one thinks, the dead are dead and that all are equal, they kill, whether ETA, the Army of Spain, the United States, the Palestinians, the Chechens, the Mossad, MI6, Al Qaeda . What is critical of ETA, what kills them? What other institutions that use violence to achieve their goals do same? The Basque conflict is a political conflict and ETA uses this reason to justify its "crusade" against Spain. Since Spain imposed its rule over the Basques, a portion of its citizens react by exercising violence.
If the Basques were really free, independent, sovereign, "ETA would not exist because it would be meaningless. But it is easier and more convenient to let ETA there and fight, regardless of the damage and lives lost, to solve the conflict created by not recognizing the determination of the Basque Country. The lives lost are not worth as much as the gains from the Basque Country, given gains that secession would be lost. Can a village really should ask permission to decide your fate as they please?
The fight against ETA over 50 years it has been unproductive every point of view. Justice has prosecuted and imprisoned ETA members but the organization remains operational, the police did not give way better results, all you have achieved is that the authorities will abuse power to violate constitutional rights and guarantees and deepened the rejection of the Basque people feel by the English authority. Much less was achieved something when the English used the "Dirty War" as a means of extermination of the ETA. A "dirty war" many times worse than that carried out the ETA. The army, police, intelligence services have done their atrocities as well, if more than that carried out ETA. Without enumerating all he did Franco, we can bring a more recent example, Aznar did not speak, but the socialist government of Felipe González (1983-1996) when it created a vigilante structure, the GAL (Anti-Terrorist Liberation Groups) controlled by senior government officials, who killed 26 people in the environment of ETA.
There is no way that the effective recognition of the rights of Euskadi, particularly self-determination and, as a result of it, the independence of the Basque Country, is understood and accepted by Spain. Self-determination is not the work of ETA, the International Law of the People, therefore, be achieved would be a victory for ETA as everyone says, but a victory of the human right. Enough colonialism, neocolonialism, lack of freedom, exploitation, segregation, marginalization, violence and indifference. Self-determination
The law of self-determination, one of the more managed, manipulated and yet ignored in the political debate. It was first formulated in the French Revolution of 1789 and quickly forgotten by the force of Napoleon. Reappears in the nineteenth century to join the national state doctrine, "which claims the right of every national community to consider statehood for the nations as the only natural entities" (Verdross). The concept is gaining strength after the First World War and used by President Wilson U.S. to define the drawing of borders between the new states born from the disintegration of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
The right to self-determination of peoples right to self determination or the right of a people to decide their own forms of government, pursue their economic, social and cultural and structured freely, without external interference and in accordance with the principle of equality.
The term self-determination for the positive international law, and may correspond to the field of natural law and possibly the field of purely political principles.
Its origins can be found, more or less defined in the following documents: Habeas Corpus Act of 1679, Bill of Rights, 1689, the Virginia Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence of the United States, 1776. Also in 1789, the American Constitution and the Declaration on the Rights of Man and of Citizens of France, the same year.
The Declaration of Independence based self-determination of necessity ("When in the course of events make it necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected to another ...") and in natural law ("the separate and equal condition to which the laws of nature and nature's God entitle ").
O Wilson's Fourteen Points (1918), the principle of self-determination of peoples, and in one case talking about the rectification of borders along the lines of nationality, or simple guarantees to national minorities within other countries, allowing them to base the new European organization, with the emergence of various countries to independence.
All adopted rules on minorities in the First World War, following various procedures, minorities treaties (concluded by the principal Allied and Associated Powers with Poland on June 28, 1919, with the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes , Sept. 10 1919, with Czechoslovakia on September 10, 1919, with Romania, on December 9, 1919, and Greece, on August 10, 1920), special parts in peace treaties (Saint Germani, Neuilly, Trianon, Lausanne ), provisions of other treaties (Germano-Polish Convention on Upper Silesia of May 15, 1922, convention on the territory of Memel, from May 8, 1924), and statements to the Council of the League of Nations (Finland, Albania In 1921, Lithuania in 1922, Latvia and Estonia, in 1923).
The Covenant of the League of Nations, although inspired by Wilson's Fourteen Points, is limited to indirect references to Article 23 on the mandates. On the contrary, the Charter United Nations refers to this principle from the beginning, which states in Article 1, paragraph 2, among the purposes of the organization, "to promote among nations friendly relations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self determination of peoples ", echoing the same statement in Article 55.
The "International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights" and the "International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights," say since Article 1, which is identical in both documents, that "all peoples have the right to self-determination. Under this right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural "
Self-determination of peoples is a fundamental principle of public international law and the right of the people, which is an inalienable and give rise to obligations erga omnes for States. In fact, according to many authors, self-determination has become a norm of ius cogens.
The Human Rights Committee has made clear its fundamental nature, noting that is a prerequisite for the full realization of individual human rights. The philosophical concept of self-determination is derived from the human need to realize their aspirations and affirmation of the intrinsic equality of all human beings, and as such is composed of principles not only from Western culture. As a political concept, the idea of self-determination of peoples or nations was articulated by peripheral cultures in contemporary history. Derives from the origin of the complex but powerful idea of "nation", established in the nineteenth and twentieth-century general of the hand of the decolonization process. The right to self-determination should also be considered progressive and conceptually connected with the political notion of "independence" generated by the Declaration of Independence United States in 1776 and the English-American War of Independence (1809-1824).
The external aspect of the right of self-determination is related to sovereignty. Concerns the right of peoples to freely determine their place in the international community of states, according to the principle of sovereign equality. In the exercise of this right in accordance with resolutions 1541 (XV) and 2625 (XXV), a town can determine the formation of an independent state, free association, integration into an existing state or acquisition of any other political status freely determined by the population. The external aspect is reflected in the prohibition of colonialism and domination and exploitation in general.
The concept of self-determination of peoples has been used, and still is, to designate basically three different possibilities: one, the right of peoples to freely determine their political status, understood this right as the right of a people to be form of government they want, two, is the right of a people to maintain their current form of political and economic change and, if desired, without interference from other states and three, the right of a people with clear and obvious national identity, to become state to organize its own life so policy without interference from other peoples.
Self-determination as well understood as the right to independence, results in automatic right to secession. To distinguish between two cases: a) the peoples under colonial domination of other peoples different, b) a village with a national identity without question, that as a minority is part of a population of a State, but that feel separated from it by history, culture, language, etc.
National self-determination ultimately is merely the recognition to the right of each national group to decide on the fate of their State, and therefore to separate another given state. The only democratic way to know the "will" of a nation is the referendum. This solution will still be required however democratic, as defined, purely formal. We do not really explain anything about the real possibilities, ways and means of national self-determination in modern capitalist economy. Yet in this very heart of the problem resides.
For many nations, if not for the majority of oppressed nations, groups and domestic sectors, the sense of self-determination is the abolition of the existing boundaries and the dismemberment of existing states. Hence
is derived from the ongoing conflict between the principle of national self-determination, in many cases, leads to economic decentralization and state (dismemberment, separation) and the strong centralizing tendencies of imperialism, which has at its disposal the state apparatus and military power.
power of the centralizing tendencies of imperialism in any way is derived we are required to submit passively to them. A national community is the heart of culture, as well as the national language is the living expression, and this fact will remain significant over long historical periods indefinitely.
The right to self-determination citizen can not be excluded from the peace agenda, hence the behavior of Spain against the Basque problem that can not generate more violence. Spain's attitude is not only contrary to law and peace. Basque Nationalism
If regions like the Basque Country, Catalonia and Galicia the term nation reaffirm the feeling of belonging to a group with a common origin, language and traditions, perhaps in Madrid or in the south of Spain word is linked to State sovereignty. These differences are where the blood of the "English" usually boil.
Worldwide, nation-states, but there are also nations that are not states. There are nations that are spread across several states and there are states that contain different nations. In the English Constitution only gives the title of nation's Spain as a whole and not their parties, ignoring the other nations like Catalonia or the Basque.
If every people has the right to self-Spain will be breaking the law by not allowing the Basque or Catalan nation to self-determination or there is a State Gallego.
To understand what a Basque nationalist feeling can summon Javier Garate member of the PNV, a man who makes his living as a butcher, "I am Basque, nothing before, anything from behind. I'm Basque and I do not want to be something else I do not want to be neither English nor New Zealand, or Sweden, or anything. I am Basque and Portugalete and already is enough, what I want more. I'm from Portugalete, 1 st generation besides, my father was and my mother Santurce Zorroza. (...) And I've always known that my father was a nationalist, my mother was a nationalist, my brothers, but the only one who is affiliated with me (...) I also think that Basque nationalism was born of English nationalism was a way to defend against the centralism that refused to recognize or accept certain things that distinguish us from others, either for good or for wrong. Unwilling to admit, Sabino Arana was not obliged to, in a moment of clarity, to say, well, let's create a party, we will try to do what Juan Palomo, "I cook it, I eat it "Heck (...) and do often say, if I'm not surprised they are antivascos, reading the things you read and hear things that you hear no wonder that we have mania because then it is you're watching TV are talking about the PNV and put as background the logo of ETA, man, do not bother me!, or a manifestation of those of street violence that go there ... These are a gang of undesirables (...) Who are enemies of nationalism Basque? For the English, who can only get the trip and Humpback Whales. Although they were born here and live here, are English period. (...) Why not say or respect what they say mostly Basques? Sure, that's a Democrat, you just have to respect what they say, when you say them and how they say what Independence (...) And with all the consequences that can not be independence or people who knows and understands much more than I say no, you have to be a federalism, or autonomy, I do not know that ... well, as, according (...) ETA That could make it disappear like in the circus, you know? Do you or rabbit do you think is going to fix this? The PP is not against ETA now, what happens is that ETA is the apology. I think you could talk to them even being killed, at least to know what they want ... And if you want to reach an agreement or consensus, or whatever, obviously, have to show some willingness (...) Yes, since when nationalism was founded, we knew what we wanted, now, when we're going to get? Or how are we going to get? I do not know, maybe at first approved constitutions, statutes and then approved after approving other statutes and other constitutions, if necessary. "
The Basque people have the characteristic features of a nation like many of today's state-run nations. The Basque people have a very distinctive culture of its own: its language, one of the first European languages, dances and sports, its traditional architecture, customs, beliefs, myths and legends reflect their lifestyle and their attitude towards it, their spirit and idiosyncrasy. The Basque people have a story itself, even if divided, that characterizes it: the Reyno de Navarra, provincial systems, the defense of its sovereign interests for centuries before the power centers of France and Spain, the draft Garat "New Phoenicia "" The Gamazada "," the Carlist "sovereignty achieved even under the special circumstances surrounding war Basque autonomy in l936-37 with the establishment and operation of its own army, police, currency, etc. The Basque people geographical identity has defined itself for centuries and known since antiquity by the names of the territories that have remained Basques: Araba, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa, Lapurdi, Navarre and Soule. The Basque people has its own distinctive legal system based on democracy and statutory codes emanating from it, individual rights, in some cases much more respectful of the modern individual who is currently in force. Property rights, inheritance, family, denoting a proper sense of seeing the social order. The
Basque people has a historical desire to be free, as shown in the above case histories as observed by the deep sentiment, expressed in different ways, which reflect the Basques: their attachment to their language, their political struggle , preserving their customs, their national identity in every corner of the world where they are, their ideological preferences clear majority of nationalist tinge, his remarkable commitment to support any action contrary to either fiscal or military state that is, indifference to their particular culture that these states have been imposing their overwhelming support to all efforts by national sovereignty. If a people is defined subjectively, it is known that our people have never given up on himself and therefore not to be masters of their own destiny.
Ultimately the Basque people constitute a nation, not only in its ethnic sense but at the same point of view of states that deny this condition: The imposition of the languages of the states claiming the annihilation of Euskara, the imposition of constitutional systems following the removal by force of its own system of the Basque territories, imposition of the military, police outside their society, governors or prefects who have a similar task to that of the former colonies, the implementation in the legal codes of these clauses states specifically predestined to prevent the legal existence of the Basque people. The same activity of the police in both states, the systematic introduction of foreign officials in education, justice, public administration etc. is a clear expression of the will of the French and English states annihilate the Basque national fact that is irrefutable proof of the existence of sense, law and draft constitution of that fact in the Basque country. The right to self-determination is inherent in the existence of the Basque people. The Basque people, Euskal Herria is historically the same right to independence Portugal has because if this one is by winning a battle of the Basque people is not about losing crucial battles like Noaín or Amaiur. Has the same right that Ireland may have reached freedom after centuries of struggle that ended up winning while Euskal Herria was defeated by force of arms or not the right reason. Euskal Herria has the same right as Cuba or Puerto Rico or any other of the nations that were once colonies of Spain or provinces. Self-determination can not ever be limited and less proscribed by geographical, whether river, mountain and sea battles are not historical accidents or treachery, are transactions or commitments between feudal dynasties. Euskal Herria has the same right as Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Slovenia, and others not long ago were autonomous regions within a state and agreed to its independence by majority agreement of its citizens. Euskal Herria
has the same right as Belgium, been artificially created, and Luxembourg it is because of feudal privileges, or Andorra, and Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, broken off any of the nations of the Austro-Hungarian nations today are because of the free will of its citizens. Euskal Herria has the same right to break the border that had divided as Germany, or reverse the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as does Ireland with respect to its territory cut off from the north. Euskal Herria has the same right to Israel or Palestine to become a state in their own province to maintain its own existence, just as the Kurdish people or Quebec, Tibetans, Chechens, etc. just as it is Catalonia, Scotland, Corsica, Wales Bretraña, etc.
ETA ceasefire
"ETA has decided to declare a permanent ceasefire and general, which can be verified by the international community. This is the firm commitment of ETA with a final settlement process and the end of armed confrontation. " This is part of the brief statement read by three hooded ETA through a video that was widely publicized and impact in Spain.
was a long ceasefire announced. During its 51 years, ETA (Euskadi Ta Askatasuna, Basque Homeland and Liberty), the armed Basque separatist group has declared a dozen truces. In all cases, the truces were part of a negotiating strategy with the state, to try to get the right to self-determination for the Basque people to define whether it wants to remain part of Spain or start their independent future. Despite enjoying self-government, as different regions of Spain, with skills in many areas, no central government has accepted the last 35 years of democracy to hold a referendum.
Basque separatist spirit is shared by a significant segment of society in Euskadi (Euskal Herria in Euskara) and several nationalist parties, including ETA represents, since splitting in 1959 the Basque Nationalist Party (PNV) its most radical left and the only weapon.
are three words that open a hope of ending this conflict that takes too long for the unfit, idiosyncrasy and convenience of Spain, those words are: permanent, comprehensive and verifiable, but the English people prefer to keep talking about persecution, extermination and disbelieve and make deaf ear to a "new" possibility of concluding a struggle not only bleeds the Basque and English, but to all humanity. These words appear after a long wait but are not expected or welcomed by the English, since for them the issue of Basque separatism is very annoying. Could it be that if you stop talking to ETA should discuss Basque self-determination? ETA Will always reminds them were also murderers? Will they remember that they are an imperialist country, with colonies and subject peoples? Will autonomism seeking the "Basque" or "Catalan" shows that the "nation" English is nothing but a puzzle of Nations imprisoned or contained by the centrifugal force of capitalism and the central power of a decaying state forces them to stay within boundaries that are not theirs? Could it be that afraid while Spain is broken into pieces showing rancid bones of a republic that was never really too much and do everything possible to keep up the charade?
The text, presented in Brussels at a press conference, was written at the instigation of some figures from Sinn Fein, the Irish separatist organization that turned the leadership of Herri Batasuna, ETA's political wing in the late 2009 to request assistance to reach final worthy of armed confrontation. The ideologue of this move was the leader of Batasuna, Arnaldo Otegui, sick of the band pulled by land political strategies with increasingly outlandish actions and with little support from much of the public. Otegui
perceived as a disaster, but was careful to make it too explicit, the failure of the peace process opened in 2006 between ETA and the government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. For the political wing of the independence it was clear that the socialist government had taken great risks and high prices paid for politicians to accept the proposal to negotiate peace, and throw it all away the way in which ETA did it, making fly one of the park at Barajas airport and killed "by mistake" to two Latin American immigrants, would lead nowhere.
For its part, the English political class took note of the episode and categorize ETA ended a teenage gang led by unscrupulous politicians or compass with which it was impossible to reach any agreement. So, Madrid made it clear that ratified its policy of isolating Herri Batasuna electorally from participating in regional elections and increased the persecution of the few active cadres of the band, also closing all avenues of funding and strangling her every few days more international support. Sinn Fein
Otegui made contact with the South African lawyer Brian Currin, who was mediator in the peace process and the South African Irish, and had advised the band on the peace process in 2006 and Currin moved to make figures are listed in the column length behind a document that required him to ETA cease-fire permanent and verifiable "internationally, under conditions similar to those negotiated the end of the IRA in Ireland. The Basque separatist organization did not acknowledge my presence and when he announced his latest truce last year made no mention of these requirements. But Arnaldo Otegui
was
willing to much more. And with the support of some leaders of Batasuna weight began a battle that so far, in half a century, the political arm had never won: ETA to try to impose a political decision with broad consensus among its own bases. It was thus between November 2009 and February 2010 from prison motorized Otegui a series of meetings with broad participation of the militancy in which triumphed, with more than 80 percent support his proposal to support a negotiation process that develop "in the total absence of violence." The media close to the independence movement began to show clear signs of support for this line action and the group found themselves increasingly besieged. But Otegui ETA would not break so traumatic because he perceived that if he did was to cause a split of Batasuna, causing dropouts and only make the agony of the armed gang to be extended a few years mired in the stubbornness and disregard of policy options. Meanwhile, the procession was on the inside and the messages kept coming to ETA becoming stronger and clearer. With this release, it seems, finally decided to show that he had heard.
distrust, skepticism, caution. Such were the attitudes that the political environment English behaved in front of the permanent ceasefire ETA. Most believed that the notice is insufficient because it does not represent a definitive end to violence. "It does not serve the statement. You have to take steps more forceful and definitive: we will not allow any cheating, "said the president of Spain, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. I wonder, and Spain gives happened, if in any way going to address the issue of self-determination in any negotiation, any compromise in any agreement.
A president's statements were joined by the vice president of government and English Interior Minister Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba. "The only statement that we read all democratic governments and political parties is one in which ETA to declare and make it an irreversible and permanent. But it is clear again today that it has not done, "said the likely candidate for the succession of Zapatero and the PSOE.
But skepticism regarding the announcement of the armed organization that advocates the independence of the Basque Country was not exclusively the ruling English. A hint of disappointment with his words slid President of the Basque government, Patxi López, ensuring that the Basque ETA expected to announce its final end. "This is not the statement that nobody expected. The time for conditional truce has passed, the Basque society is not content with breaths under surveillance, we want to breathe free, "he said. Earlier, left open an eye of hope: "ETA began to assume that its end is inevitable. This cease-fire, but insufficient, closer to the end of terrorism. "
The reaction of the English opposition was too rough and not very enthusiastic. Enough to know that the Popular Party issued the same statement released when ETA declared a truce in 2006. "It's a pause, not a resignation. ETA has not apologized or repented for their crimes. Their goal has not changed, is still to self-determination " says the paper, which was accompanied by some brief words of the secretary general of the PP, María Dolores de Cospedal. "Everything that has happened since 2006 reaffirms that the only valid one is the action of the rule of law. The hope of society does not lie in a statement, but the action of the bodies and the state security forces, the judiciary, international collaboration. The PP will be very vigilant in the next election to prevent by any means or any other organization ETA filoterrorista arises. In no way going to allow someone to put the peace conditions or requires the intervention of international mediators, "remarked De Cospedal.
For the Izquierda Unida (IU) a statement of ETA was insufficient. The party's Federal Executive Committee felt that the ceasefire is "insufficient progress that fails to meet the demands of the citizens nor the requirements of the end of violence in a conflict of this nature." Prior to his statement, the secretary of the leftist faction, Cayo Lara said: "The only statement that we expect from the UI is one in which terrorists announce the final and irreversible cessation of violence. ETA weapons must put on the table. We are not worth any kind of trick. "
Congresswoman Union, Progress and Democracy (UPyD) Rosa Díez, also rejected the attitude of ETA, which called for mockery and derision: "The armed group renounced its objectives."
The Basque separatist radical left was the only sector that examined the attitude of ETA on the positive side. Their referents considered it a brave decision and "historical significance." "The cease-fire opens in a clear and unequivocal opportunity to advance irreversibly towards a framework for peace and democratic solution," the leaders agreed Txelui Beitialarrangoitia Moreno and Marian. It is a detached faction of ETA which has allowed the political environment of the independence movement somehow overcome the outlawing of Batasuna, ETA's political wing traditional. Epitaph
Among the many accusations, mistrust, hatred, revenge, interest and complicity is ignored, leaving a new opportunity to complete in part a battle that has already been too many deaths. The underlying problem is not ETA, the problem is the binding referendum for self-determination Basque English central government does not allow.
Spain has its heroes, the Great Captain, Hernán Cortés, Francisco Pizarro, Carlos V, Fernando Álvarez de Toledo, Duque de Alba, Don Juan de Austria, Alessandro Farnese Ambrogio Spinola, the Cardinal Infante Ferdinand of Austria, or the Duke of Berwick. Have you ever given much thought to how many people killed all these "heroes" in the history of mankind? Why are hundreds of thousands of murders they committed are not critical and the other 817 deaths of ETA? For example, Cortes and Pizarro that America was committed outright genocide. Spain's history is written with blood and death, "Spain should set an example and apologize for the deaths caused in the world before they demand that ETA to apologize for their dead?
is clear that the Central Government of Spain is afraid of losing substantial benefits that gives the Basque country and would set a bad precedent for the rest of nation as Catalan or Galician, which make up the "Republic of Spain to follow the same path.
ETA was born 51 years ago, the Basque problem has centuries before ETA nationalist fundamentalism will be charged the first victim, was disregarded, banned, persecuted, annulled, annihilated different forms of claim and recognition presented by the Basque Country.
To finish with ETA should let the will of the peoples to be expressed and exercised freely. ETA is powered by the abuses and errors Spain commits daily and lack of determination shown by the Basque Country in seeking self-determination.
If the people of Spain fight for Basque self-determination as it does against ETA, ETA did not exist and the Basque Country would be free indeed. If the people of Spain fought against capitalism, which kills more people than a million ETAs, as it does against ETA, the world would be a better place to live. Let's not be hypocrites.

That offended him deeply. He felt anger rise as an acute heartburn. He raised his Punisher finger ready to strike down a bug that insolent erasing their existence from the time records, when a hand stopped him gently virginal.
"Wait. Watch a life time. Has a bad temper, yes, and a buccaneer language ... but is being kind. It's just that he is unworthy so much injustice as his world.

Mr. Clean Eraser Stovetop
Tucson effect
violence almost always begins with one word. Rarely there will be violence that is not preceded by harsh or cruel words. We are sensitive beings and verbal meanings, and it is not unusual for a disagreement ends in aggression or becomes violent.
This certainty is what today centering the United States after the shooting that Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was seriously injured and two people were killed by Jared Lee Loughna.
The fact disturbs not only the loss of lives, but because it is the crystallization a message of hate that the Republican party and its most extreme wing - the Tea Party and Fox News commentators - have been agitating for some time: "we must get them by hook or by crook."
is interesting to see how an event can transform the national mood and go whole society on earth. After two years of a very violent rhetoric, bombastic, full of manipulation, exaggeration and resentment, courteous and conciliatory tone of Obama had been terminally crushed.
The last election, the Democrats suffered one of its most disastrous defeats, was proof that Obama style was not working. Overwhelmed by the strength of the conservative onslaught, the government was cornered, isolated, and no fixed address. This, coupled with slow economic recovery, ending ruin the reputation of the president, leaving the dream of a second Camelot on the floor.
However, the act of hatred of a lone gunman may well have changed everything. By displaying the angry rhetoric erodes the social fabric and that the pursuit to eradicate those who think differently entails violence, the group that has Sarah Palin to the head has suffered a political setback deep.
While it is clear that the Tea Party is not involved in the act itself, is difficult to separate radicalized his speech with action shooter. And not only by the constant call of the ultra conservative to stop, and fade defeat their rivals, but because they have created conditions in which an unbalanced young woman with a history of drug use can go and buy a semiautomatic weapon and Chargers cartridges without any restriction or problem.
weapons law in Arizona, one of the most lax in the neighboring country, not only allowed this young man to perpetrate their crime, but feeds with thousands and thousands of weapons to Mexican organized crime. Reports on the weapons that are legally purchased there and brought here illegally abound, and is part of permissiveness that conservatives gringos believe that there should be around weapons.
Gabrielle Giffords is a political centrist, pro women's rights, inclined to regulate the arms market in favor of improving the conditions of migrants, and moderate Democrat. It is not a rabid leftist or had a violent rhetoric. But it was "in sight" of Sarah Palin as one of the policies which had to be "undone."
is in this context of violence and polarization that the Obama, worn by his moderation and balance, it is perfectly appropriate and even reassuring.
Speaking after the tragedy the best Obama shone again, embracing a bewildered nation and calling for unity, peace and civilized debate. Considered by many as his best speech so far, the figure of the president and has been completely repositioned in the public arena. Its mix of tact and civility before seen as weak or naive, it is now indispensable. Urgent.
The U.S. president's words are preceded by cruel words and violence, but they are a balm to a wounded and divided nation. Since words can cause violence, the big lesson is that it also can stop and avoid them. Obama calls for an obvious but only now is heard, that does not stop the political debate, but that is discussed in a to heal rather than wound.
A simple but profound message we should return. Not only in our political class, but in our life. In our homes, our friends, our spouses, our families.
That should be the effect Tucson: heal, not hurt.

is interesting to see how an event can transform the national mood and go whole society on earth.

Railroad Tie Retainer Wall
When you change the
Before the beginning of 2011 is hard not to wish that next year will be different. I am not optimistic and I know they have been hard times for everyone. 2010 will leave a trail of violence, crisis, fear and anxiety.
-call New Year's raw, I can not help feeling that times ahead significantly better in many ways. Is approaching a period that will not be easy, but it is the beginning of a better time for our country.
The economy is rebounding and that's clear. There has been significant progress in fighting organized crime, and while this is a war of long-term, there are some positive signs. Undoubtedly also lead to an improvement in growth opportunities and thus of national self-esteem.
And seeing is that the assumption of Dilma Rousseff in Brazil, and with the endless comparisons between this country and ours, understandable and sensible comparisons, with the two American giants-no choice but to ask what happened to them "see" so well and we so badly.
What Lula has managed many aspects, but a simple explanation: Lula went to the Brazilian self-esteem. They said they were a possible country, a nation value. Immersed in their problems with violence, poverty and crime, in many ways worse than ours, the Brazilians now feel that they are moving and they can be the place they deserve.
and not have it all easy: the dimension of poverty and violence in Brazil is enormous, as inequality and social backwardness. Still, Lula managed to raise self-esteem from their homeland and that caused a global effect. Brazil became more influential and powerful in the world, moving and almost almost humbling.
But this year I perceive that the tide is changing. Not because Brazil is going to go wrong, I have good opinion of Dilma, but because Mexico is finally in a position to give a jump. And no, there will be neither easy nor quick nor magical. The year is not free from our endless strife and political poquiteros unremarkable continue our political class. There will still be in Mexico violence and drama.
Still, something will change. We begin to realize that life gets better, that opportunities begin to arise. You should feel a different mood, a little more hopeful. This is important because we usually give our national mood that actually has value. We
long depressed, scared and angry that they no longer realize that we feel hope and enthusiasm is not only possible but essential. Our nation as we demand and our own lives we require.
Change mood is an achievement for any country and in our case, with so much fucking drama with which we are accustomed to live, is even more complex. We can not ask the government or politicians, but must come from a general social pact to face life better and better.
I do not know, maybe just my enthusiasm for a year that promises to be the best in a long time. Maybe it's just my desperate need again to what is illusion. Do not know about you, but I'm tired of being angry. I'm tired of feeling that we do not move, we do not know where to go. And while never lose my natural indignation against injustice, today I hope that 2011 is the year that we stop being angry and frightened and began to feel valuable and capable.
I think we deserve it.

Walki Taklie With A Baby Monitor Mode
Caesarea, check baby and Spanish crisis
What we did to turn what was once the "sweet sleep" in a wait of terror?
crisis plaguing
in Spain has forced the socialist Executive to back down and suspend many of the measures that led to the presidency. At the time, "check baby," was described as "electioneering" and was called "check vote" in reference to which was implemented four months before the 2008 general elections, but on this occasion, the Popular Party, criticized the cutting aid. The PP is, always voting against adopting as yesterday rejected and rejecting what until yesterday approved. I am convinced that not only stop the women in this world, so do societies, and their birth give birth crisis, idiots in government and a capitalist system that corrupts everything.
A buggy 700 euros, two bottles $ 25, $ 10 diapers, a baby 2,500 euros, for everything else there is Mastercard and human stupidity.
With the 12 chimes of midnight on January 1, 2011 was terminated the failed ruling that sought to induce birth. A symbolic measure to the poor people of the State or a bonus to encourage domestic consumption to the haves. Revealing a pathetic picture of Kings-land without magic-fundamentalist priests, young fascists, great heroes and crazy painters. The "check-baby" became extinct in the same way it did the year and thus was in history.
If you ask me why I say "a pending terror" because terror is a reality meet with mothers showing threatening what they want most for 2,500 euros, because the medicine is moving as an industry, because the Government answers to the problems of citizens, because the opposition parties are only there to strike action and overthrowing governments, as the years go, forever and always the same story, everything is done or not done to benefit the personal interests to shore with our blood capitalist business that moves the world and makes us.
Sad but true. Spain, a country with the lowest birth rate in the world and the European country by birth less aid to families look like the check-baby away without having fulfilled its true meaning and punishing those who needed it most. Although there were many parents who saw this benefit of being able to bring the baby, not a "bread under his arm," but a "check under the arm", a check that will allow them to consume different goods for the baby or them. It is incredible that all interviews with parents who struggled to get the benefit, has not heard or read a single word to ask for food. What am I talking about then? Babies are not bearer checks granted by the State to endorse at some shopping and take any offer.
hard to believe that a mother is willing to consciously and voluntarily to jeopardize their health and that of his son to get an economic benefit, but such has been the situation in Spain the last two weeks of December, where some families assessing the situation, decided to press for healthcare professionals so that their children were born by cesarean section or induced labor, but born before the year ends. To what extent are we willing to risk for a few dirty bills? Every day I see that there is no limit, brake, principle or value that puts a brake.
The so-called check-baby came into force in 2007 and ran until December 31, 2010, remember that this was one of the proposals announced by the Government of Zapatero and the PSOE.
The truth is that when the crisis hits, we all do everything possible to get ahead, but many English who were about to give birth to have forced their children were born before the end of the year, something remarkable, although not surprising or new. Although medical protocols say only for health reasons must be forward delivery, these developments raise a new ground, "would be a new indication, a social indication," said Balbas, professor at the University Basque Country, who states that the request seems legitimate patients from the social point of view, but adds that induce labor is always a risk.
The obstetrician, who has attended approximately 5,000 births, is placed on the skin of their patients. "I will not break the bag, but I understand they want to do. What I think is worthy is that all measures have been taken by the government against the poorest," he adds.
The nearly 44,000 women who undertook in late December was a race against time. How many will be gone well the bet? To earn a few "pesos", the 44,000 pregnant women who were date of birth between December 25 and January 6 experienced an unusual impatience. Most, assessed the possibility of early delivery, especially those scheduled for a caesarean.
psychologist and a midwife Dolores Perez said that this occurs mainly in private clinics, "It is impossible to improvise a natural birth. But private clinics are scheduled cesarean section. After 38 weeks of pregnancy is agreed day for delivery depending on the availability of medical equipment and preferences of the mother. In public schools does not happen. " Which, no longer a paradox in itself because it would allow the check cashing those women In principle to further resources.
Serpadres A survey confirms the information portal: a large majority of women say that they have consulted with your gynecologist the possibility of early delivery. Only 5% of the respondents categorically rejected the possibility of "medical advice".
But there is something we all agree. In those moments where everything is chaos sends wisdom, and the network was a hotbed of giving advice to prospective parents "how to deliver the baby." Google reported 269,900 tickets for references, "tips forward delivery", which increased to 400,000 if you include "check-baby" in the equation.
Writers, experts, forums, maternity, specialist sites and other media, agreed that the most effective is: walking, driving, having sex the last week of pregnancy, stimulating the nipples, and indulge in the pleasures of hot chocolate, made possible by the cold spell that hit the old continent.
even organized groups that practiced these tasks in the company. Natalia is the case, who along with his classmates went for a walk antepartum - recommendation of the midwife to the birth on ahead, and shared the same desire: "that their babies arrive before 12:01 on January 1 2011 "
Amid social reality should be noted that in Spain are carried out almost 40,000 of unnecessary cesareans, more than a hundred thousand that are made, "the association said the Party is our, this shows a lack of ethics and professionalism of the professionals health, stating that it is a damnable error that families want to make money, but if the money they make or clinics to which they belong is something normal and only an aid to the mother and baby. What has so many caesarean section is a factory defect or health interests of women?
clinics and private insurance are hiding behind that caesarean birth is safer and less traumatic for children, but also agree that giving birth by Caesarean section is more expensive to do it vaginally. In fact, the World Health Organization sets the 15% rate of cesarean section justified, while public health shines through this technique to 23% of children and privately to a startling 39% in some schools, arrive even at 43%. This percentage, coupled with the forceps births, 18%, has made the most critical from wondering if that means that almost half of English can not give birth on their own. Obviously not. So, what answer these figures?.
Be honest gentlemen, hard of hearing phrases like "doctors strongly advise against inducing labor purely economic grounds only if there is no medical justification, when often they who have led births without clear medical justification. Forward
birth a few days is relatively common in the private sector. They do when they bridges or Easter, or the Fair. Carries some health risk, but usually does not involve gravity. In the last days of December many mothers have requested that they make the move to Hamilton (separating the membranes to induce labor naturally), with 38 weeks of pregnancy, many obstetricians have agreed to this practice.
is true that many gynecologists have entered the game to make deliveries more convenient day. However, the fact remains that a considerable number of women "requires" a certain type of delivery. Medicine is becoming more a la carte, so that it ends up being a sort of pact of convenience between two parties: gynecologist and pregnant.
Anyway, as always, we realize that the biggest losers are the poor people, sectors of the population own privileges, rights and benefits are. They are the ones who suffer most from the crisis and paying the consequences of the system in which we live. We
babies that the world keeps turning and turning. We drink to think the money they can give us some benefit. We have babies to sell us the medical mafia cesarean section, drugs to keep them "healthy", diagnosis and treatment. We have babies for factories of products for children invoiced billions of dollars worldwide. We have babies for the grace of the system to continue smiling as he looked. We have babies as young rabbits, to feed the beast that devours us with increasing frequency.
